More mechanical arm work

The images below are of the construction of the fingers on the mechanical arm. The whole arm is difficult, however the fingers caused me some grief due to the fact that I had to make sure they were not only created correctly but also make sure that they were grouped in the correct hierarchical structure so they will be easier to animate later on. The fingers were made using basic polygon cylinders and poly cubes. The cubes were used for the base of the 3 cylinders which makes up a finger.  The assortment of bolts were made using the poly cylinder and then extruded inwards to create a bolt type look. The object was then poly smoothed to create a less rigid shape.

Hours of work= 6 hours
